CURATORIAL APPROACH
Federica Viola is an independent curator of Contemporary Art based in Italy. Her practice is grounded in research on contemporary themes, developed through close engagement with artistic practices.
Her projects originate from conceptual research and unfold through the encounter with artists whose work offers situated and critical perspectives on specific topics. She approaches exhibition-making as a space for knowledge and inquiry, where contemporary art becomes a tool to explore and deepen complex social, cultural, and theoretical questions.
She collaborates with artist, independent art spaces, institutions, and cultural platforms in Italy and abroad.
